On Farm Connectivity Program Round 3
Round 3 is now closed
Round 3 of the Australian Government’s On Farm Connectivity Program closed at 5:00 pm AEST on Friday 2 October 2026, after applications reached the available funding limit.
Thank you to all of the producers who worked with AxisTech to prepare and submit an application.
The program moved very quickly and we appreciate the time and effort involved in getting applications completed within such a short window.
What happens next?
Applications submitted before the program closed will now be assessed by the Business Grants Hub.
Priority will be given to eligible Primary Producers who have not previously received a benefit through Rounds 1 or 2 of the program.
The Department has advised the following expected timeframes:
Assessment of eligibility: up to 10 weeks
Approval and notification of successful applications: approximately 1 week
Notification of unsuccessful applications: up to 3 weeks
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. The Business Grants Hub will assess Primary Producer eligibility as well as the equipment and costs included in each application.
We will keep our clients updated as we receive further information about submitted applications.
If your application is approved
Once an application is approved, AxisTech will work with you to finalise the next steps.
Approved applications will have up to 120 calendar days from the date of approval to:
finalise the sale
deliver and install the approved eligible equipment
provide training where applicable
complete and submit the rebate claim
All steps must be completed by 28 May 2027. This deadline cannot be extended.
Before the rebate can be paid, the Primary Producer will also need to complete an online declaration confirming that the approved equipment has been supplied, delivered and, where applicable, installed.
What do you need to do now?
For clients who submitted an application through AxisTech, there is nothing you need to do at this stage unless we contact you for further information.
The Business Grants Hub may request clarification or additional information while applications are being assessed. If we receive a request relating to your application, our team will be in touch.
As soon as we receive an outcome, we will let you know and, for successful applications, work with you to get your approved equipment underway.
